That’s a Wrap on Our Ageing is Living Photography Exhibition!

After a vibrant two-week showcase at Paraparaumu Library, our Ageing is Living Photography Exhibition came to a close last week. To celebrate, we gathered with our talented photographers, their whānau, and friends for a wonderful closing event.

🎉 Congratulations to our People’s Choice Award winners:

🏆 Senior Entry: Roger Smith

Your creativity and unique perspectives truly captured the heart of the exhibition.

A huge thank you goes out to all the photographers who submitted their work, and to the many members of our community who came along to view the exhibition. We especially enjoyed reading your colourful post-it notes, sharing reflections on ageing through an intergenerational lens.

Finally, we’d like to extend our gratitude to Kāpiti Coast District Council for supporting this project and helping bring it to life.

This exhibition was a celebration of connection, creativity, and community spirit – and we look forward to more opportunities to continue the kōrero about what it means to age well in Kāpiti.

Thank you for being part of it.
