Practical Planning Ahead Presentations

Getting your affairs in order is important for everyone.  This means family members and/or trusted people in your life can handle your estate and affairs as you want if you become incapacitated or when you pass away.

Come along to one or all of our presentations about:

  • Advance Care Planning
  • Enduring Power of Attorney
  • Making a Will
  • Funeral Planning

Details of future presentation will be sent to members of Age Concern Kapiti and advertised on this website. For further information phone 04 298 8879.

Advance Care Planning

Advance Care Planning (ACP)  is a way to help you think about your future healthcare. Now is the best time to consider taking part in an ACP conversation before a possible serious illness.  Planning will help you and those close to you understand what is important to you, what your concerns are and what treatment and care you would like.

Age Concern Kapiti has trained volunteers (ex-nurses/social workers/health professionals) to guide you through the process. Phone 04 298 8879 for further information.

 Staying Safe Refresher Driving Courses

Classroom-based refresher workshops for senior road users which cover driving regulations and tips on better driving habits.

Details of future courses will be sent to members of Age Concern Kapiti and advertised on this website. For further information phone 04 298 8879.
